I am a mum of 2 small children, working part time and was struggling to prioritize time for training. Through working with Loretta, I have managed to develop a routine that suits me with a person who intuitively knows how my body works!

I have developed a positive attitude to training, so much so that I now really enjoy exercise and see benefits. I’ve got energy, I feel better, I’m much trimmer (and getting more so).

I’m also eating more healthily thanks to Loretta’s tips on diet and nutrition.

Loretta has provided me with her service for the past 4 years and is still ongoing. In that time I have had many limitations in what I can do, but have found that she has adapted my training accordingly allowing me to obtain a good level of fitness and maintain it.

We have focused on different areas consistently: resistance, aerobic and core strength and have found not only my fitness but my posture and awareness to correct movement in my daily life has really improved how my body feels.

Loretta shows a genuine knowledge of fitness on both exercise and body function which has helped in overcoming some injuries. Also I have really appreciated and enjoyed an approach of laying the foundations to long term success that is maintainable.

I am a senior citizen and have been working with Loretta as my Personal Trainer for 6 years. I have found her to be sensitive about my physical abilities, but encourages me to work hard and gradually improve my fitness.

Over the time we have been working together she has identified my weaknesses and tailored programs to improve upon these, particularly my flexibility.

I am sure that if I did not work with Loretta weekly, my enthusiasm to exercise would be minimal and I would definitely not enjoy the feeling of physical well being that I have.

I started training with Loretta when I discovered that I have weak pelvic floor muscles, and I saw the results of training way before I expected it!Loretta is very caring and quite thorough in teaching every part of a move. She describes the move in so many ways until you completely get the move.

You will enjoy Loretta’s classes, she makes Pilates a “fun” exercise, something that I never experienced before.

As a mother of 7 children I enjoy my chosen “outlet” of running, training for marathons.

However the accumulative effects of years of pregnancy and a high impact sport have made me biomechanically flawed and prone to constant injury.

Working with Loretta has made me significantly stronger in the core. I have learnt to switch on muscles required to run long distances. My overall posture has improved. My ability to run several hours without sacrificing form is significantly better. And most importantly, Loretta has worked with me to deal with the ever present threat of time off due to injury.

Mid 2004 I suffered with an extremely severe prolapsed disc in my lower right back. Post op I was told there was significant nerve damage which would affect my right leg muscle control and movement, most likely for the rest of my life. The surgeon suggested upon recovery to concentrate on building up core strength in an endeavor to compensate for lower back weakness, ensuring there is no weight bearing on the spine, hence no running, jogging, or weights that would cause an issue.

I am pleased to advise that under Loretta’s tuition, my mobility and movement is almost normal. There is no evidence of a limp when walking, flexibility is greatly enhanced and the soreness and stiffness no longer exists.

Now aged 55, I believe I am almost as fit as I was 20 years ago, as such I feel deeply indebted to Loretta, her quiet motivation and ability to encourage and obtain the most out of each session is a great asset. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to commence an exercise regime for fitness and or health reasons.

I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis about 5 years ago.

Joint pain, stiffness and swelling are the main symptoms. After being diagnosed, I was advised to go on medication, which I decided against.

As I had exercised all my life I looked into other avenues. Physio every week and I then decided to do spin classes as I had always done aerobics of some sort or another and now could no longer jump.

Having known Loretta many years as a teacher. I decided to do Pilates and weight based training with Pilates.Since starting with Loretta, I have not been to a physio. We talk about my body symptoms each session and work on that.
