I have been a client of Pilates Plus since its inception in 2009. Loretta and her team have worked with me over the years to keep me physically able to maintain the demands of long distance running, in events ranging from the marathon to 160 km. Since starting with Pilates Plus, I have dramatically decreased the amount of “down” time due to injury, and have not had a running-related injury for 3 years now. I am extremely happy with these results. As I move into my late 40s and beyond, I want to ensure I continue to run for as long as possible and I am confident that with weekly pilates sessions I will be able to do this.
I was someone who always put their family first and myself last. As a consequence it had been years since I had exercised at all and I was feeling sluggish and tired all the time. I decided to try something different by going to Pilates Plus Fitness because I knew a gym would be pointless (I’d have good intentions and just would not end up not going).I now have a training schedule which keeps me accountable with the benefit of being trained by professionals in a small group environment. I am always shown the correct technique when doing my exercises and am pushed to give it that extra bit to get the most out of my workouts.As a result I am now stronger and fitter and have lost weight and centimeters in the process. I actually look forward to exercising now which I never thought I would like doing in the past!
